Congruences modulo powers of 2 for l-regular overpartitions

Summary:
Let Al(n) denote the number of
l-regular overpartitions of n. Recently, Shen discovered
some congruences modulo 2, 6, 24 for A3(n)
and modulo 3, 24 for A4(n). In this paper, we
establish several new congruences modulo powers of 2 for
A2r(n), where r ≥ 2.
