Summary:  Let c be fixed with 1 < c < 35/34. In this paper we prove that for every sufficiently large real number N and a small constant ε>0, the diophantine inequality |p{1}{c}+p{2}{c}+p{3}{c}-N| < ε is solvable in primes p{1}, p{2}, p{3} near squares.
