A simple proof of a theorem of Laptev and Weidl

Summary: A new, elementary proof of a recent result of Laptev~and Weidl~[LW] is given. It is a sharp Lieb--Thirring inequality for one dimensional Schrödinger operators with matrix valued potentials.
