Summary: Sarason proved that weak compactness of a holomorphic composition operator on H^1 of the unit disc is equivalent to norm compactness. The purpose of this paper is to obtain a result similar to Sarason’s theorem for Bergman spaces over strongly pseudoconvex domains.
