Stationary dense operators and generation of non-dense distribution semigroups

Summary: We introduce the notion of stationary dense operators and show how they can be used to extend a result of V. Wrobel on the spectrum and generation theorems for distribution semigroups due to T. Ushijima and D. Fujiwara from densely defined operators to not necessarily densely defined operators. Other applications are sketched.
